2023 has been a successful year for the campaign, but the work is not done yet
Thanks to the campaign’s supporters and the industry’s efforts, an amendment was secured to the government’s Energy Bill, which commits to publishing a consultation on renewable liquid fuels. Additionally, the Prime Minister announced that the ban on installing fossil fuel boilers would be postponed from 2026 to 2035. However, there is still more to do, and the upcoming general election in 2024 will be crucial.
