The Nidderdale Junior Cricket League (NJCL) is set to begin its 2024 season, with Kettlewell Fuels continuing as the league’s headline sponsor.
For many years, Kettlewell Fuels has been a dedicated sponsor of local cricket, particularly the development of the Nidderdale Junior Cricket League.
For the first time in 2023, the company sponsored the NJCL’s indoor winter season, which provided the opportunity for youngsters in the Nidderdale area to play cricket all year round – especially valuable heading into the 2024 season.
This season, 29 clubs will participate in the Nidderdale Junior Cricket League, an increase from 115 to 123 teams ranging from under 7 to under 18 years old. Many of the participating clubs are fielding multiple teams now, demonstrating the league’s growing popularity among junior players.

Commenting on the sponsorship activity, Kettlewell Fuels Managing Director Stuart Illingworth said: “It’s great to see local cricket thriving throughout the region. It’s an integral part of our local communities. Fostering camaraderie amongst our junior players also encourages true passion for the game that often develops into a lifelong dedication to the sport. We’re so pleased to be able to offer our support.”
